Who we are

Extra Vegetables is a UK registered company based in both London (UK) and with a presence in New York City (USA).  We understand custom installation and the necessity for products to work, work well and work first time. We spend a great deal of time ensuring our drivers meet these criteria.  We have over twenty years experience as custom installers so we do understand the pressures of completing a project on time and on budget.

What's in the name?

The name comes around from the fact that in this industry companies are usually delivering a 'soup to nuts' service. But even the finest menu can benefit from some Extra Vegetables on the side. If you meet Simon at a trade show somewhere he'll tell you another story too.

Why should I buy these from you?

Well of course you don't have to. You can spend the hours it takes us to write and test the drivers yourself. We just think in some cases it's better to buy in rather than re-invent the wheel. We know dealers want additional functionality for their systems, and by having a commercial operation we can keep the prices at a reasonable level.

What about support - you're on the other side of the pond aren't you?

No, we now also have a presence on the US East Coast in New York City.  You can contact us from 4am-5.30pm Eastern that's 9am-10.30pm London time. We've got lots of ways you can get in touch with us and we are always happy to help anyone who's having a problem. Our Helpdesk system ensures that we get back to you as soon as one of us is in the office.

I'm a Manufacturer can you help me?

We write some drivers directly for manufacturers. These can be written so that they can be officially certified by Control4 too. Please contact us so we can work out how best to assist you.

I'm a Dealer can you write a driver for me?

The answer is probably no, simply because of the cost of writing one-off drivers. However please do contact us if you need a driver as it helps us determine what the demand is.

Doing business with us

All driver sales are made via this website to registered dealers only.  You will be purchasing from Extra Vegetables Ltd a UK registered company.  Payment processing is via PayPal (through their Luxembourg based European arm).  This allows payment with a PayPal account and most major credit cards.  This site is hosted by Go Daddy at their European data center in the Netherlands.
