The Extra Vegetables Control4 drivers for the Centralite Elegance or Litejet lighting system implements the following features:

• Reliable RS232 Control through MCP interface.
The MCP provides a convenient interface between the Control4 system and the Centralite network. Single or multiple Elegance systems can be controlled via the one connection.

• 'Cloud' based driver - simple to deploy, transparent to customer.
A 'cloud' based driver attaches devices such as lighting circuits to a 'cloud' that represents the Centralite network. Each device is then simply addressed to match the corresponding channel address on the Centralite network. None of this is evident to the customer. A light is a light regardless of whether it is on the Centralite network or a Control4 outlet module.

• Support for dimmable and non-dimmable lighting loads.
Not all light types are dimmable. Just as you would connect some to a Centrlite dimmer and some to a Centralite relay you make the same virtual choices within Composer. This ensures that only dimmable lighting loads are presented to your customer with faders.

• Support for motorization devices.
Centralite relays are multi-purpose and this flexibility is echoed in the driver. If you use a relay to control a fountain you can represent this as a fountain directly within Control4.

• Recall any Scene.
Our driver provides you with full communication to and from the Centralite system. You can recall any scene on the Centralite system.

• Press and Listen to Buttons

The included 'Button' driver allows you to virtually press, release and tap buttons on the Centralite system.  Control4 events are fired when the real button is pressed on the Centralite system.

• Blinds driver included.
The Centralite Elegance relay boards allow relays to be interlocked in a flip-flop arrangement in order to control blinds.  The blinds driver allows these relays to be properly represented as blinds on the Control4 interfaces.  This is only supported on the Elegance system - the Litejet system does not have this feature.

• Fan Speed Controller Board 
One of the unique features of the Centralite system is the availability of a Fan Speed Controller board.  We have created a special driver for this board which allows you to select the fan speed from Control4.  For $2.99 more you can add our Fan Speed 4Store app to the system to provide a user interface for the fans on all flash enabled Control4 interfaces.

• Compatible with Control4 OS 2.x.
This driver is designed to be used with the latest releases of Control4 only.

Limitations
There are currently the following limitations with the driver:

• Scenes
To avoid the Popcorn effect we recommend that you maintain your Scenes on the Centralite system.

• Fan Speed Control 
There is no built in user interface for fan speed control in Control4.  If you require this you need to purchase the add-on 4Store app.

• Relay Feedback 
Centralite does not automatically feedback status changes from relays.  The driver allows you to poll for these changes but Control4 interfaces will only update after Control4 has polled for the status.

• Blinds 
Blinds driver is only compatible with the Elegance system.

Requirements
The following are required for successful deployment of the driver.

•Control4 2.0 (or higher) + HC800 Controller for larger systems

The introduction of any two-way driver into a project adds to the processor load. In line with Control4's recommendations we suggest that an HC800 is used for systems of more than three rooms.
